The Music

This music was made using an Html Loop Player that I have tried to develop. You can read about the development here:

www.ambientonline.org/forum/ambient/tutorials/86964-html-loop-player

The player is an html page that has the controls embedded for several loops that are place in the same folder.
This track was recorded live through the sound card using Audacity.
This track is uses 9 loops, including a drum loop (created with Jackbeat) and a speech loop. The main voice was recorded using an attachment with Libre Office.

Title / Lyrics

I went to sleep think about the first music concert I attended which was Hawkwind at Leicester DeMontford Hall in 1977. I was thinking of a song that Hawkwind had just released called ‘Spirit of the Age’ which included a combination of two poems by Robert Calvert (then singer with Hawkwind). I woke up at 5:30 in the morning and wrote the words used in this track.
