The Kingdom Project

In 1986 Psychic TV tried to release one live album, on the 23rd of each month for 23 months. They did not succeed but they did release 14 albums in 18 months. This made me aim for 24 albums. I am not sure if I am changing personal freedom for companionship, but it seems like a good number.

So the goal of this project is to release 24 albums in a year. The aim is to release albums on the 1st and 15th of every month. I read that Psychic TV got an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records for the most records released in one year. I am not sure if this is still true, however, working hard to beat a record that may not exist in the face of overwhelming indifference seems to be a perfect metaphor. Let’s see how it goes.

I have called the project “Kingdom” because when I was at school, every day children would chant “Let your Kingdom come.” Waiting for the Kingdom seemed to fit the mood of the project.
